Frequently Asked Questions

 

What are the ticket prices?

Table of ten = £3,190 + VAT

Individual ticket = £319 + VAT

Tickets includes drinks reception, 3 course dinner, half a bottle of wine, awards ceremony and after party.

Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis - To avoid disappointment please book early as tables sell quickly.

To make a booking, please click on the  'Book Tickets' on the home page and complete the online form.

An invoice can be requested on the form for payment to be via cheque or BACS; there is a credit card payment option which can be selected at the time of booking only.  Please note credit card payments cannot be made if the invoice option is chosen at time of booking.

Payment is immediate and via credit card method only at the time of booking from 12th December 2017.

 

When do travel agents nominate and vote for their favourite suppliers?

Travel agents can nominate from 7th September to 6th October 2017, nominations close at 5pm. 

The list of nominated companies will be announced on 9th November 2017 in the Globes Voting Supplement issued with the Travel Weekly magazine.  Travel agents can vote from 9th November to 8th December 2017, votes close at 5pm.  

Winners will be announced at the ceremony on 11th January 2018.

 

What are the timings for the evening?

18:15   Drinks reception
19:00   Awards ceremony and dinner 
23:30   Late night bar and entertainment
02:00   Carriages 

Please note the timings are subject to slight alteration

 

What is the dress code?

Black tie.

 

When will I receive my invitations?

Your invitations will be sent to you at the begining of January, in order for you to send onto your confirmed guests.

 

When will I find out if my company has won?

Winners will be announced at the Globe Travel Awards ceremony on 11th January 2018 at the Grosvenor House, London.

 

Who do I notify if one of my guests has special dietary requirements?

Please indicate these on your dietary request form which you will receive via email mid December and must be sent directly to the venue. All requests must be received by the Grosvenor House at least 48 hours prior to the event, otherwise charges will apply and guests’ requirements may not be taken care of.
